This revolving cable car takes you from the lower cable base all the way to the top cable post onto the flat summit of the 260-million year old Table Mountain. The upper cable station is 1,067 m above sea level and you can observe the city diminish as you go higher up the mountain. The ride will take about five minutes and there are cable cars going up and down every ten to fifteen mins. You can also trek up to the flat summit, which stretches out for 3 kilometeres, or ride in the cable car. After exploring the beauty of the short walks on the mountain top, you can either go back down in the cable car or else choose the more daring method of clambering down that part of the mountain.
